In the process of development, Guotai International Group (GTIG) always undertakes its social responsibilities, protects rights and interests of stakeholders, continuously engages in social and public welfare undertakings, and contributes to poverty alleviation to build a harmonious society.
Group Public Welfare
In terms of public welfare, GTIG established the "Light of Hope" Grant and Scholarship in 2006. For 15 years, the group donates to over 100 poor but excellent students from 19 local universities, middle schools and primary schools in Zhangjiagang every year. Up to now, 2,329 local students have been benefited.
GTIG also actively participates in poverty relief by establishing entities, and has invested in production-type entities in many places to create new employment positions. At the critical moment of fighting against the COVID-19, GTIG actively takes action, and has donated money and supplies to Jiangsu Charity Federation, Yangon Government and relevant departments to make contributions to the fight.
